Rob Michaels is an Iraqi writer, director, and performer based between Toronto and LA.

He recently wrote on season 2 of the Will Arnett and Cobie Smulders animated series SUPER TEAM CANADA as well as season 3 of the hit Crave series LATE BLOOMER. He’s also written for CBC’s workplace comedy ONE MORE TIME, Roku’s CHILDREN RUIN EVERYTHING, and five seasons of CTV’s ROAST BATTLE CANADA – garnering multiple Canadian Screen Award nominations for Best Writing. His directorial feature debut, PLEASE, AFTER YOU, premiered at numerous Canadian film festivals and is now available on Prime Video in the US. He has performed professionally with THE SECOND CITY, and has accumulated millions of views on his sketches via features on outlets including Funny Or Die and 9GAG.

Rob’s greatest accomplishment is completing a math degree and a business degree simultaneously, then choosing a career that requires neither.
